Missin' Ya, Blogger!

Poor old Blogger.....since MySpace came into my life I have neglected you...Shame on me! Well, I am here, attempting to make it up to you..all my readers have probably given up on me and don't even stop in anymore....but I am here, just the same..and as always...I will find something to say whether it makes sense or not! All is quiet on the home front tonight...my faithful friend, Josie, has even deserted me and retreated to her bed. The various insects are singing outside..and that is the sound of fall! The last day of summer is past and we can only look forward to the change of seasons....the best one of all ...autumn...I have always thought that it is the season of good-byes...and a beginning of a death of sorts. I don't mean this in a morbid sense...just that the trees turn and the leaves fall..but before they go into their winter slumber....they make a magnificent display of color....the air changes even...and with all the signs becoming apparent...they seem to be the perfect blend to reveal nature's predictability along with its mysteries. I saw a locust the other day...must be the year of the locusts...as they come out every seven years in huge numbers and when they all get to singing....it is quite an orchestra!...They all die off and leave their shells sticking to trees and just about everything...my country upbringing recalls the whole side of our house being covered with them one year! The other day on the way home from church..I saw a black caterpillar inching across the blacktop...does that mean we are going to have a harsh winter? An old wives' tale come to mind.

When you can hear all the clocks ticking in the house and tell which one it is...now that is silence...a bit too much silence for me...I am beginning to wonder if this was a good idea to come over here to blogger tonight...could it be that I am just rambling here..with no where to go and no message to the reader?......How refreshing...I may just have to ramble again soon..............

MySpace is down so I decided to do a post over here this morning...I am up really early, so I have some time to utilize! I turned on the tv and Fox news is on...something bad happened in Peru and and there are a hundred deaths as a result of it! I didn't catch just what happened...but I am sure I will hear it again before the morning is up! There is just too much tragedy in this world!
I went to the doctor for a check-up a week or so ago and finally found out the results of a couple tests he had me take....one was a bone scan test....I have thin bones! Not surprising, as the last bone scan I took said they were thinning....So, as a result of the results...I am going to take a pill for it! I am not fond of pills....not so much the taking of them as the cost of them! Thank God for insurance...but it is still an expense that I hadn't planned on....I passed all the other tests with a good report...one was called a Dobbler and it tested the circulation in my legs...I have been having leg aches a lot...nothing was found wrong with my circulation...but I still have leg aches....must be those thinning bones! Anyway, so much for tests, pills, and the doctor visit...time to move on!
Work has been something else lately...The new Super Walmart has put a crunch on our business...and yesterday when I turned on the pizza oven..it heated up, but the big conveyor that moves the pizzas thru the oven wasn't moving! MSI came and checked it out and said that the conveyor was basically cashed and a new one would cost 600.00..uninstalled! Well...of course that was a NO from the manager...so now they are going to bring in a welder to fix the old one. MSI guy got the thing going and I managed to cook my first hotplate full and then it stopped again just as I was getting ready to run a pan pizza thru it. So the guy came back and got it going again. It worked good thru my shift ........then, just as I was about to leave, the manager of the Chinese department was looking at the oven and informed me that it wasn't put back together right...we took it apart to clean it last week and since the girl who used to put it together in the morning is no longer employed there...it probably didn't get put back together right....I only know how to take it apart...since that was my job. So, today, I am facing trying to convince the boss of the problem and taking it apart and trying to put it back together the right way! I am so anticipating the joy of that venture!
I never heard what happened in Peru....there is a guy talking about Ethenol now and how that is going to push up corn prices....no good news there! I will be paying more for that bowl of cornflakes every morning!
That about does it from me this morning.. Winding up this report with greetings to you all and I will attempt to bring you some good news next time, folks....The good news today is...God loves ya! That news is always good and never changes..same yesterday, today and tomorrow!...I wonder if MySpace is up and running yet? Catch ya all later!
