No Greater Love

Holiness abounds in your heart when you fall in love with the Lord....when He becomes more real to you than anything tangible here on this planet. The love you feel for your Saviour is like no other you have ever experienced in your entire life...when you think of what He means to you...of what He did for you...of his boundless love..How can you not help but just cry out...."Lord, you are holy and mighty and King of my heart...Lover of my soul, and I just want to fall at Your feet in awe and wonder at the magnitude of Your Holiness!" When you were lost and didn't know if you could ever love or feel loved....did He not reach out and beckon you to follow Him? You, like a lost sheep...Him, like a Shepherd caring for His fold....Did He not welcome you into the flock, like you were the most important one...the one no one wanted...the one no one thought could ever find the way? He showed you the way and opened a door and welcomed you like a long lost friend and said..."I love you!...You are a child of mine...and even though you may not know Me as well as I know you...come on in and sit with Me a while and tell me all your troubles...tell Me the desires of your heart...I will listen...I will comfort you...I will be your shelter from the storm...your rest....thanks for coming to My house...My grace is sufficient ...my mercy is never ending and I will never leave you or forsake you!" Never will you ever find a friend like Him ....One that died for you....that's how much He loved you....that's how much He still loves you......the One named Jesus.

Where is Your Faith?

When there is no sign of anything good in your life and the very walls seem to be closing in on you...who do you call on? There are people in our lives who would seem to be the ones that would come to our rescue...where are they? If they do come..do they help you or do they jump down in the pit and wallow right along with you? I would certainly hope not..but sometimes that is the case. Even our best friends often allude us when the chips are down and we seem to have fallen on hard times...That is where faith enters into the picture...Like a bright light that floods the darkness...let your faith lift you up out of that dark hole and renew your spirit. If you have no faith...then seek it...with everything that is in you...Even a little faith is better than none at all. I see so many people who don't have a clue that there is hope for their hopelessness and a loving Father that will surround them with the love that they cannot find in the world...for the love the world offers is fleeting and fickle..but His love is everlasting and unconditional...and endures forever. Your faith will carry you through tough times and give you hope that you will not find in the things of the world...Faith is the one gift you give yourself that saves you from yourself...from doubts, fears, hopelessness, despair, heartache..and anything else that would stand in the way of the love that God has for you.
