I'm Back

I have been absent from here for quite some time and decided a return would be nice...I have been on a vacation from work and really enjoying the time off...work can become tiresome without a break once in a while. Went to the job place today to see how everyone was doing..not all that great..we are short handed and the boss over my department and the one next door quit after only two weeks...not her cup of tea..so we are on our own now ..for who knows how long...and preferably it will stay that way..seems no-one is cut out for that position or no one even wants to be cut out for it..talked with the old boss and he said he was relieved not to be there!
Since I have ran my department since the last manager quit over a year ago..makes no difference to me if we ever get a "manager." I just want things to run smooth and get a few good people who are willing to work and work together as a team..not asking a whole lot...

Fall is approaching and I love this time of year...even if it means winter is not far ahead...There is a snap in the air tonight that means a frost could be coming sooner than we expect..winter blues is marching towards the Midwest..while hurricanes are still hitting the coastal states..even Texas in not escaping their wrath..geesh...weather is getting to be weirder every year..
