Dog Update
I can't think of a solitary profound thing to post, so I'll just talk about how the dogs are doing. We've had Rusty Kramer about two weeks now and Josie just loves him dearly. However, we've come into a few problems. It seems Mr. Kramer had hookworms when we got him and when I suspected what was wrong with him, I took him back to the pound and they were kind enough to give him a three-day cure in powder form and two cans of moist dogfood to put it in and he has been faithful in taking the medicine. The only problem being, of course, I'm now worried that our sweet little Josie could have got infested with the worms too. This morning she was acting kind of punkie. Jose says she's just not a morning girl and she does like to sleep in. They were both out all day today and are wiped out on the couch as I type this. Why do dogs insist on occupying the couch---they Know they are not supposed to be there! Another small problem we are experiencing with Rusty is the fact that he will run like the wind when ever he gets a chance, and we've had to chase him down several times. He is getting somewhat better of late and minds Jose much better than me. I don't trust him tho and always take the leash with me when I go to get him from the fenced in yard. I'm looking at the two of them sleeping on my couch and I don't have the heart to run them off of it! They look so innocent...............It's getting late and I'm kinda tired myself so Goodnight!

Both of our dogs LOVE the couch! Our oldest, Valentine, is a dalmation, so she takes up WAY too much room - and she's a big shedder, so the couch is a NO-NO - but she sneaks up there anytime we're not looking. Too much spoiling when she was a pup.
Our pup - Shaley - I think is spoiled too much, also. She get up on the couch all the time, too. She runs and gets her toy, then up she goes. Except when she naps, she's on the floor (weird, I know)...
Hey Ruth...
Get to posting!
