Sunday Already!

Seems to me that the weeks just go faster and faster! Here it is Sunday already! I'm an earlybird and Jose is already up and has Kramer (aka Rusty) out for his morning jaunt. Kramer was up at about 5:30 prancing across the bed and making weird noises. Josie , on the other hand, will not make an appearance for quite some time yet. She is snug as a bug in a rug, under her yellow blanket and I can't blame her as it is cold again this morning.....what's up with the weather, it is May isn't it?
My granddaughter, the oldest one, graduated from Churchill Jr. High thursday nite. The presentation by their principal reminded me of Pastor's post about preserving a good name.
He told of an incident in high school about a test he had the opportunity to obtain and how he had shared it with several of his friends and how they had all aced the test and were confident that they had succeeded in the deception until the teacher called their names over the intercom a few days after the test to come to the office. And of course, the last to be called to the office was the ringleader. He told of his shame and what had given it away was one of the kids he shared the test with was not the brightest crayon in the box and got an almost perfect score on the test! I applaud this principal for sharing this with all his students and their families as the auditorium was full. The lesson he relayed was awesome. I'm sure he learned a lesson that at the time was painful, but down through his life, was a reminder of how important honesty and integrity are. He is successful and well respected by his students and I hope they will all heed the advice he gave as they begin their high school years.
Well, folks, its coffee time! Jose and Kramer are back from their walk and its time to start the day!
