where i have been

November 30, of 08, I took a tumble on my basement steps that resulted in a broken knee and a broken ankle..both on my right leg...hospital and the entire month of December and half of January, I spent in a nursing home til I was able to manage to get around at my house. It was a long recovery and I still feel as though I am still in recovery since I have been home, back to work...but I am still in a lot of pain everyday and most likely will have a bad limp the rest of my days....I have accepted that...it's the pain that I have a problem with...some days my feet hurt so bad, I can barely walk after coming home from work! I like my job..and don't even want to think about not being able to work...still, it is hard to deal with not being able to last more than a few hours without the pain setting in.
More bad news came along several weeks ago when my little dog, Josie, became down in the back and lost the use of her hind legs...we took her to the vet...got her some meds..but they didn't work. She is not in pain and gets around pretty good and seems to be happy...we love her so much and just can't bare to put her to sleep. She is only seven years old.
I have not blogged here in a long time..most of my blogs are on MySpace now...but this is where it all began and where I really became fond of just typing all the things on my mind..lots has happened since the first one..feeling kind of nostalgic....
