Ho Hum!

Is everyone hibernating from the blog scene or what? I realise that people are busy this time of year, but come on now! I am starting to feel deserted here! Just kidding. I'm looking forward to my vacation in a couple days. Ten whole days off the job scene. I can really use a vacation because work ( and yes, even some of my co-workers) are starting to get on my nerves!! I am really looking forward to time away from the workplace. I don't have any specific plans, just mainly being free from the timeclock and doing whatever comes to my mind or absolutely nothing!
I would like to encourage everyone to pray for our soldiers in Iraq. I don't know anyone personally who has lost a loved one in this war. My good friend has a grandson over there and I know she is concerned about his safety. 'The rescent death of the young man in Knoxville has brought the reality of how devastating war can be too close to home! I know there have been several causualties from other communities close by and one not too long ago from right here in
Galesburg. All these young men were special to their families and friends and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew them. We should keep in mind their bravery and integrity and be thankful for what they did for us and our country. We are so fortunate to live in a country where we are free. We enjoy so many things in this country that we probably wouldn't have if our brave men in the armed services hadn't fought to keep them! So remember them in your thoughts and in your prayers and be thankful you are an American!
And would all you bloggers out there get busy and post SOMETHING already!
