Drawing a Blank!

My brain is in the "pause" mode tonite. I've been trying to think of something interesting to relay to you all, but there's nothing there! I had an okay day at work. I closed the department tonite, stopped in on my daughter for a short visit and came home. As usual the dogs were at the back door to greet me.. they were both snoozing until they heard my car pull in the drive and they shot off the couch and to the back door to greet me. I can feel the love!!!
It looked stormy earlier and we've been hoping to get a good rain. Some of the yards in our neighborhood are starting to look kind of brown..seems as tho it rains everywhere but here! I've been watering the flowers...the rosebush Jose got me for mother's day has a beautiful rose that just bloomed today! It's a real deep orange, almost red, color. Now is a good time to buy flowers as planting season is about up and the plants are really reasonable now. Jose got two really nice hanging baskets of pink petunias the other day that are just gorgeous!
Tomorrow is the first day of summer! Did we have spring? I must have blinked and missed it!
