Today is

Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Rejoice and be glad! Can we look at every day as a new beginning? We can start all over today. Today is a gift from God, as is every day we live. Do we realize how precious life is? Today is the day we can call an old friend to see how they are doing. Sometimes friends think they have been forgotten, let them know they're not!
Today is a time we can reflect on yesterday and be proud of our accomplishments..........or just be glad we made it through the day without any major problems! Today is a day we can look around us and see how fortunate we are compared to some others who are far less fortunate. Remember them in your prayers.
Today is your day! You can make it whatever you want. You can use it however you want, just don't waste it...............celebrate life today!
Whatever you choose to do today, just remember, we may or may not have tomorrow.........God only knows what the next day brings........thank God we don't! The older I get the more grateful I am for each day I'm allowed to exist! Why is it that when we are young, we don't think about the importance of each day? I guess it's because we think we have so many days that one day doesn't matter that much!
I hope that anyone who reads this will stop and think about the importance of each day we are here and remember that we are all here for a purpose..........that's between you and your Creator! Have a good today everyone!
